The Newsletter Growth and Monetization Blueprint

This NO BS guide you need to unlock Newsletter Success

Did you know that the average person receives at least 40 emails everyday?
And has at least 500 unread emails in their inbox?

On our most active email inbox, we have about 3000 unread emails.

So if you're thinking people hate reading emails… You might actually be right - But not for the reasons you think.

"Will people read my newsletter if I start writing"

That’s the biggest question you encounter when you think of starting a newsletter.

Well, people will read. You just have to put a couple things in order first.

And in this newsletter issue I'll be walking you through the steps you need to take to get your newsletter read.

And how to turn your audience into a revenue generating machine..

In Today’s issue:

  • Why people hate reading newsletters (and how you can get them to not hate yours)

  • How to make people love reading your newsletters

  • How to create content that converts subscribers to buyers

  • And a step-by-step action plan you can follow immediately

Part 1: Why People Hate Reading Newsletters

Here's the thing… People don't actually "hate" reading newsletters

They just don't like reading yours

Imagine if you received a newsletter everyday breaking down some of the top moments of your favorite TV show…

Will you not read it? Of course you would.

I will probably read every single issue even if they sent it everyday

Which brings me to my point..

Most newsletters are boring 🥱

  • The emails are irrelevant and of no interest to the readers

  • It's mostly promotional content - people don't like being sold to

  • The content quality is really poor

If your newsletter checks all or even one of these boxes then yes…

People will hate reading your newsletter

Part 2: How To Make People Love Reading Your Newsletters

Like I said before. If you ever want to monetize your newsletter you need to get people to read them.

But people won't read what they don't like so..

Here are a couple tips for writing newsletters people love

Sending Relevant Content

I've lost count of how many times I've subscribed to a newsletter for a specific kind of content and ended up getting another thing entirely.

If you want people to read your content - send them stuff they would want to read

Clear Value Proposition

This is also similar to the first point

Make sure your subscribers know exactly what to expect from your newsletter

Example: anytime you open our newsletter, you know you're expecting a valuable tip on how to grow and monetize your newsletter

The question is, What is your audience expecting anytime they read your newsletter?

You can use this template to fill up your own

"Everytime my audience opens my newsletter they're expecting a valuable tip on ___________“

Fill that out an stick to it.

Part 3: How To Create Content that Converts

Once you get people to start reading your newsletter, how do you convert that attention into money 🤑

Simple… Create content that solves their problems.

The strategies might be different depending on what you're trying to sell but the aim is still the same.

Make them see you as the go-to person when it comes to that problem they're having.

Write your newsletters In a way that they perceive you as an authority in your field.

You write about social media management? Provide enough value that they see you as nothing less than a social media expert

You write about weight loss? Write as much high-quality weight loss content as possible that they see you as a weight loss expert

When they see you as an expert, they believe you can solve their problem

And when they believe you have the solution to their problems… They'll pay you for it.

Part 4: Plan of Action (Step-by-step)

If you've decided to get started with your newsletter here's a step-by-step plan you can follow

Step 1: Define your goal

What do you want to write about?

What do you want your newsletter to be known for?

Who do you want to help?

What do you want to help your audience achieve?

Answering these questions is the first step

Step 2: Know your audience

Once you figure out who you want to help you now need to find out everything you can about them..

Their problems, needs and wants, their desires, etc.

That way you can tailor your content to exactly what they want

Step 3: Start Creating

Use the info from step 2 to start creating high quality content for your audience.

You've found out their problems? Great. Now start creating content that solves those problems

You've found out their desires? Great. Now start creating content that shows them how to achieve those desires

That's it..

I hope that by now you have all the information you need to start creating your own newsletter as soon as possible

If you have any questions you can just reply to this email and I'll answer.
